From our pre-dawn rising and the smell of burning sugar cane, to the blisteringly hot and humid days, every part of this process creates the pattern of our daily lives.

OUR PROCESS
Our rum is an Africole Rum, bottled in limited batches, to create an exclusive product for those who seek to enjoy a distinctive, quality, African Rum. We grow the best varieties of sugar cane here on the farm, which are then harvested by hand and put through our press to squeeze out the fresh cane juice.
Africole Rum is made by distilling the liquid produced from fermented fresh sugar cane juice. Our cane juice is pumped into our fermentation tanks and a combination of wild and specifically cultured yeast is added to bring out the best in our fermenting process.
We are grateful for the privilege of getting to wake up at dawn every day, and pursue our passion of crafting a premium African Rum. Ours is a unique process and we are proud of our single-estate heritage.
